RE: 1300+ page Red Flag Gun Confiscation bill

I just sent this letter to Mike Rogers (R) Alabama 3rd Congressional District:

Dear Sir:

I am extremely disappointed regarding the information I just learned. As I understand, both you and Jerry Carl voted YEA for the 1300+ page Red Flag Gun Confiscation bill, which passed in the House of Representatives 316-113.

Let me remind you that the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

I have thought for a number of years that you have overspent your time as an elected representative. I now know this to be true.

Great letter! Unfortunately, he’s already done great damage with his vote. He also likely believes that the voters will forget what he did in the next 13.5 months.
