Dear Friend B. It appears that reality where I live is very different from reality where you live. All I can tell you is that when I walk around our town, go the doctor, the post office, the supermarket, what I see is vastly different from what I hear being reported in the news media.

Since March 2020 when all this started, there have been half a dozen people report symptoms of C19. A little over 200 people have tested positive on the island in that time. All 200 positive tests were either visitors from outside, returning residents or people with close contact with visitors or recent travelers.

The 3000 residents here went through the same panic we saw on the news. But eventually, we realized that the Pandemic just is not happening here.

Our town takes credit for three COVID19 deaths. But none of those three Actually died on the island. Two had traveled to Seattle to enter hospice. After they got there they contracted the disease and passed. The third died of a heart attack after being evacuated to Bellingham where he was tested and found to be positive. No one on the island has been hospitalized or evacuated for treatment of COVID since the beginning of all this. There are zero active cases at this time.

Since March 2020 between 6 and 12 people on the island have reported mild to moderate flu-like symptoms. I reiterate:
No hospitalizations
No evacuations for treatment of C19
. You are asking me to believe TV personalities in New York and DC over my own eyes and ears - even My own DOCTOR?!
