She has the ability to cast the deciding vote in the Senate, if there is a tie.
I wish the articles would STOP calling her the “Vice President” and BiteOne the “President”. They’re not.
I emailed one of the online news sites recently to lodge a mild complaint about that. The reply? “But,, but, but . . . . they were sworn in! But, but, but . . . “ Felt such a strong temptation to write back and tell them that “but, but, but” is nothing more than what a person sits on. :-)
