There was a definite psy-op component to the "AIDS Crisis" of the '80s and early '90s. Looking back, it was all about fear bordering on terror then, magically, it was gone.
I suspect a lot of what we're going through now was honed 30 odd years ago. In fact, a key player now was a key player then. Interesting that.
And a key opponent of the key players has been none other than Prof Dr. Luc Montagnier. Who was also a key player in the early days of what was then called LAV but since became known as HIV as a compromise with Dr. Gallo over who "discovered it" yada yada. Reagan and Mitterand ironed that out.
Should also note that wiki still says Montagnier is a conspiracy theorist: "During the COVID-19 pandemic, Montagnier was a promoter of the conspiracy theory that SARS-CoV-2, the causative virus, was deliberately created in, and thereafter escaped from a laboratory. Such a claim has been refuted by other virologists.[6][7][8][9] He has been criticised by other academics for using his Nobel prize status to "spread dangerous health messages outside his field of knowledge".[10]
