You have to really like someone to be cooped up in a van that long. That is less space than a prison cell.

There are a ton of videos out on the YouTube about couples driving around the country in vans that were converted into campers. Basically they put an elevated mattress in the back and jam all their personal stuff underneath. But there are a lot of other tweaks they do to make it more livable, such as extra batteries to run mini-refrigerators and even tiny bathrooms - but I'd hate to be the one to dump the "black water" on those.

Evidently this is a big thing with young couples these days and there is a whole subculture being built around it.

But it takes special people to live that way for any length of time. It looks romantic and all but it only took me one trip in a full sized RV to be disabused of that notion forever.
