I have a 3-legged cat seeks me out when I get home and claims my lap. She first showed up at my barn 14 years ago and pregnant. After she birthed her litter I noticed I hadn’t seen her around the barn for a few days and figured that’s the life of a barn cat.

Then one morning I was in the barn feeding and I heard a loud meow and looked over and there she was standing in the doorway with a compound fracture of her right rear leg. I scooped her up and took he to the vet and he amputated her leg.

She’s never been outside the house since and I figure she knows her dad will always protect her which is why my lap his her preferred domain.

It sounds like you’ve got a friend for life. :)

That was kind of you, to go out of your way and pay vet bills for a strange kitty. :) I can’t speak for Him, but I’m guessing that God is proud of you. :)

Good luck to you and yours!
