Well, that would help with budgeting. But it would only shrink the government if it was followed immediately by a hiring freeze.

I can retire and I'm really struggling with this today.

I’m sure it is a hard decision to make, and frankly imo, the mandate is not the best way to deal with this situation.

the unintended consequence of the mandate is the risk of losing all the trained experience workers.

we’ve really been seeing a lot of this with the nursing shortage.

where you gonna get somebody qualified to do their job??
