I have issues with pasteurized milk that show up in skin breakouts rather than gut issues. For some reason, raw milk does not affect me in the same way. I read somewhere that something removed during pasteurization is what is causing all the intolerance issues with dairy. It's been a long time since I read that, so sorry I can't provide link, but it had something to do with ratio of lactose/casein in the pasteurized milk versus raw.

And once I found raw milk and started drinking it, I could never go back. It is so delicious and helps with my sinus and allergy issues. But I know it is illegal in some states.

Sadly raw milk is difficult to find. Another alternative is boiling milk. According to Ayurveda, boiling milk makes it much easier to digest, both the protein and fat, and of course any possible disease causing organisms are taken care of. I find when I drink boiled milk I have absolutely no problems, but if I drink unboiled milk, I get very congested.

OMG it's so good. I splurged on a quart of cream from my raw lady and made some butter. So good it'll make a tadpole slap a whale while you push your grand mamma down the stairs.
