No, it does not. That’s the equivalent of saying a woman who’s not taken a pregnancy test couldn’t have had that baby.
Patently ridiculous. Read this slowly: I never went for the test - the first time because they were prioritizing the tests at that time, making them difficult to get, and I had no interest in becoming a statistic to club people over the head with. Second time - my husband DID get tested as soon as he learned he had been exposed. He had to due to his job. He tested positive. They tracked him via his cell phone until he was permitted to leave the house again. He gave them my cell number too, without my permission - I ignored the call to set up the tracking. I am not being added to some state list. You can go sign up for that crap if you want to, I do not.
I DID get an antibody test last month at Fry’s (Kroger) which was negative. However, I was warned by the technician that it would be negative since it had been 17 months since I had the virus. I’m planning on getting a T cell test the next time I see my doctor.
Yes, the antibody tests are notoriously inaccurate. And the COVID antibodies decrease significantly over time. The TCell test is proving to be much more accurate, and Tcells don’t decay like antibodies. You can order the test online. Very easy. They schedule a lab for you to go have your blood drawn.
