The PCR test came to mind when I saw that page; if the PCR test is for a coronavirus, how would it confuse coronavirus for an orthomxy... virus which is flu.
I can see the cold virus getting mistakenly identified as a covid virus, but not influenza virus being mistakenly identified as covid virus.
