You don’t magically get full immunity the moment you get the shot. Immunity ramps up slowly much for the first two weeks, then it approaches 40% to 60% of it’s final value (after two shots) by the fourth week when you get the second shot. You need to pick a point in time where you change from unvaccinated to vaccinated. It makes zero sense to say you are vaccinated the moment the needle goes into your shoulder muscle.
