Trump isn’t a virologist or research scientist - nobody has suggested that he had a hand or any input into actually creating the vaccine. But he’s the one who got the process moving, and we have it now.

The reason science involves published and peer reviewed studies is because they gain or lose credibility.
In fact the study published that showed ivermectin in a favorable light was discredited and removed.
Peer review matters.
