Long term trials are supposed to be for 5 years before approval.

No one knows what the long term effects will be...no one.
It could be nothing, death, or anywhere in between.
When it usually takes 8-12 years for full approval, you have no problem with 7 months?
That said, I don’t care if you take 20 shots, just don’t make it mandatory for those who oppose it based on cost/benefit or religious reasons.

Just because they took that long in the past does not establish that as the best practices standard. Part of Trump’s development of the vaccines was streamlining unnecessary bureaucratic processes. But, go ahead and wait five years.
