Milley says he won’t resign because his dad “didn’t resign at Iwo Jima.” Am I the only one who finds this a bizarre analogy? What does his dad’s role in Iwo Jima have to do with Milley’s conduct as head of the Joint Chiefs? Does a father’s bravery excuse the son’s incompetence?
