A new “doomsday” Covid variant has been discovered, with health experts fearing it moves nearly “twice as fast” as the deadly Delta strain. With a name like "doomsday" I didn't really expect it to be like puppies and kittens.

Have they been clocking viruses with radar?
If not, maybe it’s only 1 1/2 times as fast as the other ones.
But I’m sure that those ‘health experts’ would only give extremely accurate info. /s
