I reverted to the word, “negro” about 9 years ago.

Historically, the three races of the Human species were: Caucasoid, Mongoloid and Negroid. There were just scientific terms and not intended to be racist.

Now, only the term Caucasian is not considered racist. Technically, Mongoloid should be okay as there IS a country named Mongolia. However, anyone of East Asian extraction would be offended if called a Mongoloid.

It’s funny you mention that because I also reverted to calling white people Caucasian at that time to make sure I stayed equal in my use of the term.
