You can lower your blood ph while still being in the range and that can damage your bones and teeth. People who don’t have ideal intake of potassium and protein have a ph lower than optimum.
You have an outdated and refuted view. A diet high in grains cause lower blood ph. Observations in children by prestigious teeth researchers showed that small increaes of grains in their diets allows more caries to occur.
That may be true but the side-effects of many medications alters it. A quick internet search for gout as a side effect of heart medication will reveal entries from people suffering from a burning sensation with no help from their doctor. (The quick treatment being a tablespoon of baking soda to neutralize the pH).
