Here the commies run the schools. Any sane person running for the school board is vilified by the 2 local “news” papers. Recently two teachers were fired for not wanting to push transpervdom on students. The commies here are organized and very aggressively active, and the normal people just haven’t stepped up to fight back. More are now.
Thoughts of suicide over a school board position? And fears of tires being slashed?
But if these people were doing the will of the people, ie taking masks off kids, not teaching CRT, and not requiring forced vaxxes... hmmm, I’ll bet the meetings would be more civil.
