Father in Heaven, illuminate the darkness of the battlefield and guide us where we should go. In Afghanistan, keep a doorway open in the desert, and protect all warriors serving you, and those they seek to rescue. Defeat their attackers and lead these warriors and the rescued to safety. Help the warriors know, that what they are fighting to do for the littlest of yours, you regard it the same as if it were You they were fighting to rescue. Bless them, strengthen them, and bring all who remain home safe, Father. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
