Trump Implores States to Ditch Voting Machines, Use Paper Only and Require IDs

Trump is correct, but he needs to go a bit farther.

The voter rolls of all states need to be thrown out and the Motor Voter Law repealed. All voters must re-register in person at their county seat or city hall. They must show proof of identity, proof of citizenship and proof of residence. They will receive a Voter ID Card in the mail. (I recognize that this will create a problem with military voters, but as Voting Officer of my battalion 50 years ago, I know there has to be a way to solve it.)

At voting time, the voter must appear in person at his voting precinct station, show his Voter ID Card and vote on paper. There will be no provisional ballots or absentee ballots. (Again, I realize there will be a problem with military voters, but I'm sure we can find a workaround to fix it).

If you go back to this post (https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3976762/posts?page=689#689), you'll see my attempt at finding the locus and history of recent vote fraud. My conclusion was that every election since at least 2002 has been compromised. If we end up with the military taking control on a temporary basis, we need an election, supervised by the military, that addresses every candidate and issue since 2002. It would be a reboot of our electoral system using the rules I stated above.

Vote fraud should be treated as treason and punishable by death. Draconian? Yes, but it will define the issue.
