I can sympathize with your reaction... you’ve said you’re also highly unpredictable with drugs, and I am too. I’ve sworn them off for that reason. About 30 years ago or so, I took a dose of Nyquil for a cold, and didn’t sleep for the next 72 hours, accompanied with strange tingling of my fingers and toes. About all I could do was endlessly pace around. Ugh!

I need no help sleeping soundly (or even a bed - a floor will do!) any time I’m tired enough, as long as I’m not in a moving vehicle. Then I can’t sleep at all.
