I woke up this morning and found the missing flu. My wife was Covid positive two days ago, and I was sure I had it when I woke up today. Pounding headache, cough, low grade fever, aching joints, and nausea. After waiting three hours at the local urgent care they gave me the 15 minute rapid Covid test and it was the flu. Asked the Doc for a Z-Pack and he said the research proves that the a Z-Pack is of no use for the flu or Covid. This is the kind of guy that would send you home to die or until you got blue lips. This young breed of Doctors take orders from big gov or just don’t care.

They checked for flu & strep as well as for the covid?
And it popped positive for the flu?
(Yet your wife tested positive for the covid.... that’s odd)
Also, did your wife get the same kind of test?
And was it the same place or elsewhere?

I take an antidepressant for back pain. Got a crooked spine lol. My doc wanted me to try a different one and so I asked the pharmacist, a short little man from India, if I would get side effects from switching and he raised his arms and said, (and I’m serious as a heartachoke) “Let go and let God.” I said thank you??
I’ll bet Ivermectin would help your flu not covid. Anyway, prayers up you feel better and not the Let go and let God prayer.

That’s not necessarily so. I was long ago advised that the antibiotic does not help with the flu but it is essential for the opportunistic bacterial infections that frequently follow a case of the flu. I think it may have another purpose though, in the HCQ-Zinc-Zpak regimen.
