I think Ted’s behavior post Chappaquiddick was cowardly almost to the point of being evil. Certainly, anyone else would have been forced to resign in disgrace. It’s actually disgraceful that the voters in MA kept on sending Ted back to the Senate.

Ted’s role in the Immigration Act of 1965 was also borderline evil to me. He knew full well what the impact on this country would be and welcomed it.

I think he grew to hate the country for not electing him President.

I think you give Ted too much intellectual credit. I doubt he ever did much self reflection other then admiring himself in a mirror. I also doubt if he thought much at all about what the long term impact of the 1965 Act would be.

He and all the Kennedys are driven by their egos and appetites. Driven by appetites for sex, pleasure and basking in the loving rays of the media & their witless (But since they're Massholes! So so much smarter & more moral then you or I !) voting fans. If you want to call that evil OK. I still don't think it really fits. So who is really evil ? Aren't those that are stupid enough to continue to adore them evil also ?

I'll tell you the true evil ones, the enablers - the political consultants. The political marketers that enable them ! They know what they're selling ! If you're selling crap. You gild it ! The "gilded crap" believes its gold (Like the Kennedys do!) It doesn't know its still crap, but the seller does ! Selling the 'Crap Kennedys' give the enablers power & $$ with little to no public attribution to themselves and they're fine with that.

I am a firm believer in that fact that we are the cause most of our own political problems. We project our emotions into these people and we're exploited for it.
