I don’t know how they sleep at night. What would it do in a strong quake?

Well, add this to the mix. When landfill in an oceanfront experiences an earthquake, it often liquefies. The best you could say is the end would probably be mercifully quick.

If I had a condo in that building, I get the heck out even if I had to take a loss. And from the publicly disclosed owners, they can probably afford to do that.

To answer your question, I could not sleep at night. Running through my mind is that a prominent Denver lawyer was on the phone with his wife in their Florida condo, when it collapsed. That is something I most definitely do not want to experience.
