Attempting to breach a plainly locked door in the Capitol, with no justification for being there amid a mob, will not end well.

Were the party labels reversed, I expect there would be much support here for perforating an Antifa attempting to breach a plainly locked door in the Capitol with no justification for being there amid a mob.

It’s not a political matter, it’s just an obvious security matter. Sure I’ll get berated for this post, but point remains: play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Wrong on both counts. The glass in the door was broken by John Sullivan, FBI agent, who then stood aside and encouraged her to climb thru the opening he created. He then went behind police lines to change his clothes, and disappear. There were no 'mobs' in the hallway at the time she was shot; there were 3? police trailing her who backed off as she approached the broken door.
