You don’t tell me what I “must” do, Joe. YOU are a public SERVANT. Got it?
You just stand aside...
We need to work to bring home all those Americans you abandoned...
Some more: Chappaqua, Brookline, Malibu, McLean.
,,, swap ya for Kentucky.
I went there with a coworker who was virtue signaling. I said that “these families and single men need Americans to sponsor them, not just give them old clothes they won’t wear. Are you going to join the effort help one out by giving them shelter until they can get a job and find a home?”.. “uhhh, I don’t have the space..” I replied.. “come on, you got a couch? That’s better than the ground most of these families are sleeping on. Don’t you care?” it degenerated from.
Yeah, but think of all the business a bed and breakfast could do!

Long time no see, my FRiend!
Well put. Hey, if you’re woke on social media back it up right?
,,, trapped here in the golden cage so a bit more time to get on line. I was meant to be in Istanbul, Budapest and Prague in July/August but we knew a long way out that wouldn’t be happening. Hope all’s going well for you.
With luck, Istanbul, Budapest and Prague will still be there when you can get free.
Going through hell here, mom has Alzheimer's, had a small skin cancer removed from her finger, got a postage stamp sized graft. She WILL NOT leave the bandages alone, has pulled a stitched-on pressure pad off, torn a gouge in her arm, plucked out stitches, ripped off a chunk of the graft. It's been a long two weeks.
The stitches on the donor site have been removed and the site has been blessed by the doctor. The graft needs another look next week, but he thought it wasn't nearly as bad as we described.
She's gone to bed with petrolatum lubed sites, taped down Telfa pads, bandages, an oven mitt and plenty of packing tape. Maybe this time the mummification will last overnight (How in the heck did the Egyptians do it???)
It should help that the donor site probably won't itch with the stitches removed...
Oh, also with warning notes taped to the swaddling:
LEAVE ALONE!
YOU’VE HAD SURGERY!
YOU HAVE STITCHES!
*sigh*
,,, you’ve got stress a plenty there. What a drama. My parents died in 1972 and 2004 so nothing like that for me to deal with now. Its all teenage girls to herd and cellphone addiction :)
Oh Lord! You have my sympathies!
