I’ve been following the Rita saga - her post was very negative.

But sometimes, we need a jolt of negative to get us off our a$$es and active. Not saying that I need that, but many people do. Sometimes, reality needs to B-Slap us in the face to get our attention.

My dad used to say something to the effect of “he needs a 2X4 upside the head to get his attention”. Perhaps her post is, for some, that 2X4.

And sometimes people disguise their doom porn as a call for activism.

I'm all for activism, so ask yourself why I object to Rita's constant doom porn?
