Pings 101 is generally a courtesy to the *named, not to a generic sampling of sprayed remarks, from among critics un-named.
If you want to own one, I have no problem. I own mine, that’s for sure. But pings are two edged. One is courtesy, the other for heating things up. It gums up the thread.
