The way I saw it, PDJT basically said I got the shot and you should too, but y’all have the freedom to do it or not.

That was my take as well.
Trump may well be between a rock and a hard place on the vaccine having pushed to get it out quickly never realizing what could potentially be in it. He well may never have realized who was doing the chemistry and what their motives may have been or still are.
This is what happens to a lot of straight shooters. They have a hard time dealing with criminal organizations that belong under the jail.
