I stand corrected.

However, with no VP, the President Pro Tempore would have to preside over the Senate. Would he still be allowed to vote? Could the Dems get all of their members to vote yes? I don't think that even Mittens would vote for her.

Could she get a majority in the House? The Dems only have a 3 vote lead (2 seats vacant) and Dems in Trump carried districts know that it would galvanize voters against them in the mid-terms.
