Yes. One recent week I seemed to be dropping suffixes from words. I would get the root word right and then my brain decided it was ready to move on. I got better, I think.

at my former hospital the biggest problem are mental patients, particularly dementia patients that families abandon and no facility is eager to take on that expense.
