All rational Americans should simply leave every state run by Liberal Democrats. Period. If you choose to stay you’re setting yourselves up for this. Worse, you could be setting up your wife or your children for this.
My wife and I left our home state of California for Florida. We had no jobs lined up when we left. We just got the hell out. We both found new jobs and it was the best decision we ever made. In fact, we pocketed a healthy amount of cash in the bank for doing so. We paid cash for our Florida Gulf Coast home and had plenty of cash leftover. We were amazed at how affordable coastal Florida homes are in comparison to California.
Some of us literally cannot afford to get out. Check-to-check. I’ve been trying to get out of the Chicagoland area for probably a decade, and I can’t put away enough money. The dollar value keeps shrinking and I can’t accumulate enough money quickly enough, not to mention that any money I do save is wiped out by new tires or a mechanical problem with my truck, however rare they are.
Gas prices? Not as bad as CA, but still stupid.
