He’s obviously not a troll. Check his posting history. There’s just not a lot of censorship here compared to many other sites, which is good, but it can be a little upsetting to be attacked for your religion, or lack of one, at times. You definitely learn to defend your positions when you join FreeRepublic. It took me years to even post a comment in the beginning because I was so intimidated by all the knowledgeable posters...not to mention the know-it-all’s who love to criticize and insult ppl.
Why would I ever “report abuse” for someone who has the absolute right to believe what they like if they want to???
If they want to believe in Bigfoot it is their right if they like. Unfortunately the same courtesy is not always returned.
Hence my question here... What are the controlled parameters of belief allowed here?

I’ve been on FR within a few weeks or months of it starting - long before registration - and registered since January 1998, and I have never, ever, seen or heard of a religious litmus test on any kind or nature whatsoever on FR, from Jim, or anyone associated with FR. Everyone at FR believes in the Constitution, and the Constitution enshrines religious freedom.
Lots of bickering back and forth, but that’s a forum! Some folks diss on other folks, which you can take, leave, or get involved in.
Oh? Anyone tell the other Christian denominations who are alive and well on here such a thing? How about the numerous non-Christians?
Several times over the last few years it has been mandated by certain users that a prerequisite for participating here, conversing here, or donating here is mandated that you must first be a White Puritan Christian ...
I am not a troll and yet I had a FReeper tell me I was not allowed to complain about any thing on FR because I did not fill out a profile. So it can be taken as the rules, as this person might.

These mandates were thrown at me in the “news” forum. I absolutely leave them alone to do what they like over in the religion forum.
My question is to comment in the “news” forum what are the standard strict faith parameters?
