I just recently got deathly ill with what could have been covid. I'm 70, overweight, diabetic, with heart trouble. The point is doctors will work with you if they aren't threatened. A doctor is legally allowed to prescribe poison if they believe it will help you. If they start saying "It's not FDA Approved for what you have" they are looking for an excuse to send you home to die. Off Label meds are given every day. Make sure you have a doctor that will go off label and you will do fine. These kinds of things should be discussed long before you need off label meds. Get a real doctor and not a bean counter. He can write down you have worms if he needs to write the script.
