I’ll respond to your argument tomorrow when I’m not on my tablet. But I strongly believe that we have a responsibility to the world. We have the best country, we have the best military. We need to get back to American exceptionalism.

Obama blew it in Syria which is connected to my above thoughts.

You probably won’t like my thoughts that I think we need a war. I know that will ruffle a lot of veterans feathers.

Yes, with great power comes great responsibility.

But we have some pretty stupid people coming after us,generation wise. Obviously college and universities have failed to educate them.

We are having a hard time finding small-scale motivated employees. They’d rather sit on their fat arses and collect a check and play video games.

We are the best country to have graced this planet with a top notch military but that does not make us the global police.

Most of the societies on this planet are a waste of time. As SB and I discussed up-thread they are tribal and as such will never be able to form a civilized society along the lines of the US. Going to war with them is futile because their members have no concept of different opinions different beliefs living together in peace.

You are born into a tribe or regional group like the pashtuns and your allegiance is forever with that “group” not the government (unless your tribe or group is the one in power) and not a foreign country like the US.

I agree with you about the future generations in our country. The vast majority of them are perpetual children. Never growing up never accepting responsibility for their actions and never understanding how blessed they are to have been born in the United States and not Ghana or Liberia or Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan or even Europe.

There is a war ongoing a cyber war fighting our enemies both foreign and domestic. The more advanced society becomes the more fragile its systems become making cyber war the war of first offense in the future.
