Congressional aides, briefed on Tuesday by State Department and Defense Department officials, were told that the estimated number of US citizens still in Afghanistan is actually between 10,000 and 15,000, according to three sources familiar with the briefing.
Those Americans are spread out all over the country, and the officials said it is now up to those citizens to find their own way to Kabul airport – the officials insisted they had been “messaging” to US citizens to depart Afghanistan “for a long time.”

🚨🚨DON’T GIVE UP!🚨🚨
The enemy has been attacking everyone. Mentally, emotionally, and some physically. We all just want this to be over, but the reality is we have so much further to go. This is a marathon…a very long one on a rainy day with broken pavement.
BUT the end will be glorious and worth all of this suffering and turmoil.
We can’t let the Devil win. We have to fight. Forget everyone’s opinions about everybody and fight for your kids.
We are not owned or represented by any one person. WE THE PEOPLE own AFA. We don’t align ourselves with anyone that gives ultimatums to sharing our channels. We do not care what telegram influencers have to say about WE THE PEOPLE. We are the most dangerous weapon as one group. United not divided.
No one matters but the kids! Let’s go save America together. 🇺🇸
