A controversial drug taken by Donald Trump to ward off the coronavirus may be safer than sceptics initially thought, research suggests.
The president announced in May he had been taking the anti-malarial medication hydroxychloroquine for a week and a half, causing first-time prescription rates and online searches for the therapy to soar.
Hydroxychloroquine is not approved for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, in the UK or US.
The World Health Organization (WHO) stopped testing the drug after a Harvard study found patients on hydroxychloroquine were more likely to develop de-novo ventricular arrhythmia, the sudden onset of abnormal beating in the lower chambers of the heart.
This can cause the heart to beat too fast, preventing oxygen-rich blood from reaching the brain or triggering a cardiac arrest.
A team of European scientists has since found, however, hydroxychloroquine was not associated with deadly heart rhythms among patients with a low risk for arrhythmias.

THIS is EXACTLY what Dr Zev Zelenko AND Dr Harvey Risch have said!
In fact, Dr Risch said that HCQ may have even helped, in certain cardiac situations.
Dr Zev said, in his interview with Dr Drew Pinsky, that the ONLY cardiac events were in less than 1% of patients WHO HAD AIDS, as an underlying condition, and were given HCQ...for issue other/NOT RELATED TO China Flu.
FRAUDci needs to be fired, yesterday. He lied about a successful treatment, for secondary AIDS infections, as well.
He’s only in it for the money, to enrich himself and his cronies.

So what did I find about hydroxychloroquine in early use among high-risk outpatients? The first thing is that hydroxychloroquine is exceedingly safe. Common sense tells us this, that a medication safely used for 65 years by hundreds of millions of people in tens of billions of doses worldwide, prescribed without routine screening EKGs, given to adults, children, pregnant women and nursing mothers, must be safe when used in the initial viral-replication phase of an illness that is similar at that point to colds or flu. In fact, a study by researchers at the University of Oxford showed that in 14 large international medical-records databases of older rheumatoid arthritis patients, no significant differences were seen in all-cause mortality for patients who did or did not use hydroxychloroquine. The Oxford investigators also looked at cardiac arrhythmias and found no increase for hydroxychloroquine users. This was in more than 900,000 hydroxychloroquine users. This is examined at length in my paper in the American Journal of Epidemiology in May.

Not sure what your point is, but BookmanTheJanitor’s point (post 12) is that the time difference between London and Moscow is currently 2 hours. Only during the winter is it 3 hours difference, since London does go on Daylight savings time during the summer, but Moscow doesn’t (you can google that). So that image appears to be from a different time of year than now. “

Every time we do the stick to our own hemisphere, it doesn’t work. It’s in our best interest to be the Tiger of the world.
But we are bound by a treaty to come to Taiwan’s aid if they are attacked..or maybe it’s Japan’s aid if they go to aid Taiwan. Or maybe Dementia Joe got rid of all that.

That was news to me too, but not as newsy as the statement that spike proteins could be shed from us onto/into our food herds. I read Dr. Fleming’s site for hours and didn’t read anything that I would consider quackery, so he seems quite credible. There were footnotes embedded in his reports which I didn’t have time to review. Perhaps the statements are backed up with sources, but I’m in information overload mode now and need to sleep. Tomorrow I need to work so I’ll leave this all behind for awhile.

Only one budget bill a year can be passed in the Senate by 'reconciliation' (no filibuster, simple majority vote.) This rule was instituted in the Senate so that no party could freeze the annual budget process and tie the country in knots. All other legislation in the Senate requires a 2/3 vote to pass on to become a bill for voting.
When 19 Repubbies voted on the $1.2 trillion 'infrastructure' budget bill, that opened the $5+ trillion communist Green New Deal (plus favored constituent / donor giveaway) bill to be passed through by a simple Dem majority.
Now the question is whether Dem senators Sinema (Arizona) and Manchin (West Virginia) will either - or both - vote for the huge debt flooding $5+ trillion bill, thus allowing Comrade VP Harris to cast the tie-breaking Senate vote and convert our Constitutional Republic into an utopian socialist paradise - incidentally with a permanent minority Republican Party, ad infinitum.
Those 19 'pubbies (at least 19) think that could be an ideal arrangement. That is why we call the Congress 'The Uniparty'. Nancy Pelosi is working feverishly to establish that anyone opposing this arrangement is a domestic terrorist!
