I was a data analyst for 17 years tracking aviation maintenance defects....I can assure you, you can make data say anything you want it to say. A little tweak here, omitting a key metric there and you have the story you want to tell.

I think the fact that it is now recommended and/or mandated that everyone in certain groups (like today the military) are required to be vaccinated regardless of whether they have already had COVID and have natural immunity from the COVID antibodies is one big reason the information from the powers that be is lacking credibility (along with the change in narrative every day).
