at two yrs old, my son knew it was strange to see a woman drive a truck....don't know where he got that from but he picked it up.....
girls gravitate towards things with faces.....baby dolls, animals, stuffed toys...because they are drawn more to socialization....

I’m glad I was brought up in an era where they just let kids be themselves. We are all different; stereotypes occur because there are general trends, to which not all of us conform. They gave up on baby dolls with me very early on, after I showed my displeasure after unwrapping one as a gift by flinging it across the room. Hit a relative right in the head with it! ;) I was about 3. I preferred my socialization through a lot of group activities, running around, playing energetic games, exploring nature and real animals, and getting muddy and dirty. So my play friends included many boys, as well as other girls who were like me in that regard.
And I love my truck, even tho’ it’s just a little ol’ Ranger... best vehicle I’ve ever had!
