Only ferrous materials are attracted by magnetism, you see.

What about AlNiCo (alnico) magnets?

Are they only Aluminum, Nickel, and cobalt? Or is there iron in there somewhere, too?

The composition of alnico alloys is typically 8–12% Al, 15–26% Ni, 5–24% Co, up to 6% Cu, up to 1% Ti, and the balance is Fe.

All metals have some degree of magnetic properties. Check that illustrious fount of knowledge (YouTube) and you will find videos about this. And they were posted long before covidium.
Or just skip it entirely and go on believing what you already “know”.
