As a Registered Nurse myself, due diligence requires that I do a license verification search for Kathryn Ivey both with NURSYS(multi-state listing) and Tennessee Board of Nursing.

Both returned same response: No result listed

So I call bullshit on this Twatter.

sweetie, if it's in ‘chat’ it's not ‘misinformation’. If it was in ‘news’ it would be.

‘Chat’ is the test ground for FR. So is the category (non-news) ‘medicine/health’ where a lot of questionable articles are tossed in the air for discussion and reaction. The article itself is an air toss - the author acknowledges it is based on a diary.

This is a story about struggling to adjust. Less about patients and more about the human condition. Whether it's a composite or not; I think most here ‘got’ the underlying and relatable theme.

I appreciate your efforts to verify the name. If your registry search turned up nil, and if you believe the twitter name is a legal name, call the Globe reporter and let us know what you find out. Thanks for being an RN.
