***FWIW - In WWII, Navy had an 8” gun that would fire 8 times a minute. That means 72, 354 pound, 8” high explosive shells per minute with an effective range of 30K yards. They were also effective against high flying aircraft and could fire two 100 rapid-fire missions before needing to let barrels cool.

It fires about 20 rounds a minute. This is the Mod 2 gun.
