You will likely need to ‘import’ it...

(Under ‘Data’ —> Import external data).

You will have to toggle a few import parameters but it will work...

Yes, but why support Microsoft?

You can also use LibreOffice. It’s free.

I have Excel and Apple’s Numbers and several other apps that would open a .csv file. The problem was that the evil link actually downloaded a .dmg file, which is what Apple uses to install an app on a Mac. Very unsafe.
