I had exactly the same problem recently. A very large honeybee hive ended up in my water meter box in the front yard. It was massive and I couldn’t even mow the yard without thousands of them buzzing around me. I was only stung once.

I called someone from a local beekeeper association and they were going to charge me $350 for removal. I called the city to have them remove them and lets just say they were removed. I live in a very small TX town and they didn’t screw around. LOL

Yes; if I lived within the city limits of Orlando they would remove the bees for free. I live out here on the Serengeti Plain, even though I have an 'Orlando' address, so I have to eat the cost. The problem is that I am sinking all of my Soc Sec check into this solar project for a few months... the bees are robbing me! :^D
