That showed aired on CBS. We only had snowy reception for two channels - 7 and 10(NBC) - and that worsened, depending on the weather or when a vehicle went by.

Did you also tap the person’s outstretched arm toward you on the wrist, midarm, then shoulder as each word was spoken until the last word you tapped/smacked/slapped the face?

I don't recall doing that, but we might have.

We had all four channels, the three networks and PBS (or NET as it was then). When changing from one network to another, I'd have to run outside and turn the antenna. Good times! :)
