I'm still the youngest one in my over 55 community!
Last year I had installed a 6 jet Jacuzzi tub. Setting down in it is the hardest part but the bubbles are heavenly! Biggest tub my contractor could fit in the space. Walk ins were out of my league.
I’d tear out the tub and build a walk-in shower, a roomy stall so you can have a seat (built-in, would be easier to clean, harder to slip and fall off it). Install handrails while you’re at it.
Tubs are dangerous. A friend of mine fell against the tub faucet and got a huge gash on her elbow. Could as easily be one’s leg or face. They’re also a lot harder to clean.
A “safety-first” bathroom, something designed with elderly people in mind, is good for resale value of the house.
And you never know when you’re going to need a walk-in shower stall. You don’t have to be old. No cheap seat over the tub will help if you suddenly find yourself in a wheelchair.
Use mild detergent for bubble bath ,,, cheap, effective and no ring
Nah. Save it for cussing penalties.
