I made one yoyo bedspread - 1500 or 1600 yoyos. I forget.
Have made purses with a liner behind, used as decorations on other regular quilts, dresser scarves, clown dolls with jingle bell ends, vests. My mom loved using scraps for yoyos.

Yoyos were very popular in the depression. Not much got thrown away. If a shirt got so worn and ripped, the good parts were cut out for yoyos. An old neighbor (long gone) had a 90 year old mother who most of her life got old wool garments, cut the good parts out into rectangles, blanket stitched each one with yarn and then put them together for blankets. I still have a lap blanket she gave me.
