As a public health matter, the pandemic was over several weeks ago as far as the US is concerned.
What we’re seeing now is pure politics. The organized left sees what they thought was a total victory might still slip their grasp. Just watch them, they’re panicking. Talk of vaccine and mask mandates, renewed lockdowns, but without any signal of significant illness.
And just like any other animal, they are most dangerous when they’re cornered.
I suspect that some of the CV19 "vaccine" windfall profits are going to help get desperate Democrats get reelected.
