Mattress Mack prepares to send 30 trucks loaded with relief supplies to region ravaged by Hurricane Ida
HOUSTON – With Hurricane Ida still hammering Louisiana, Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale announced a massive relief effort to help families impacted by the devastating storm.
On Monday, volunteers will be at his Gallery Furniture store in north Houston collecting donations.

There is never an emergency situation that he doesn’t come through for.
I remember when he was first selling furniture (in N Houston) out of a tent!!
His early commercials, which were definitely made on a shoestring budget, are fun to see, now.
He’s deservedly come a long way.
