2-5 years if stored properly. There's also stabilizers you can add to it every year that makes it last a long time. I never had any around that long. I didn't stock up except to get 2-3 gallons before winter set in and would get some extra right before a storm hit if it sounded bad.

When I lived in the country, the closest convenience store/gas station 11 miles from my house sold it at the pumps; not sure any do around here. Need to look; maybe at the Co-op or in the farming community near here. I've seen kerosene pre-packaged in plastic gallon containers at places like Lowe's, Home Depot, TSC, etc. but it runs about $10-12 a gallon that way. The heater I got uses about 2 gallons every 12 hours.

I've read you can still use bad kerosene but you have to filter out contaminants and any water from condensation. And it won't be as efficient. I've never done that though.

I noticed on Biden’s public schedule that there’s nothing about him flying off to to Delaware or even Camp David this afternoon, which is usually on the schedule.

Wonder if they’re making him spend the weekend in DC or they’re going to try to sneak him out of town later??
